What We Do

Our Mission

To Create Public Awareness on Rheumatic Fever (RF) and Rheumatic Heart Disease (RHD)

Through the delivery of the following initiatives:

a. Educational campaigns
b. Celebrity endorsements
c. Media advocacy
d. School outreach program in conjunction with existing Ministry of Education (MoE) and MOHMS programs, e.g., school talks
e. Community outreach e.g., partnership with township festivals
f. National Sporting events in partnership with event organizers

To Support People Living With RHD by Advocating and Creating Safe Spaces

These can be achieved through the organizing of:  

a. Support groups for Patients, Newly Diagnosed
b. Educational programs in schools as well as in the communities
c. Team building activities for Patients, Champions, family and carers 

To Assist Care Givers with the Provision of Support Systems

These include Family Members and Friends who administer Care for People Living with RHD. The Provision of Support Systems can come in the form of:

a. educational programs – especially for Family Members/Care Givers for newly diagnosed patients.

b. Helpline – an available point of contact for family members and care givers where their questions can be answered or be directed to specified care

c. support groups – for family members and care givers allowing them to better administer care for their patients

d. bus fare initiative – to assist in transportation needs for People Living with RHD
